S&W 3913 LadySmith

Anyone know the value of these? I have one I want to trade in. I was offered $165 but it seems low.

paintballwannab 08-22-2012 01:05 PM

$300-450 depending on condition. If in crappy condition $165 might be on par.

That's a retail price, for trade in value roughly half, so $165 is pretty close. Better off selling and then buying what you want then trying to trade in.

$165 is ridiculous unless it went through a fire or drive-by Dremeling.

It has very little use. I feel it is in pretty good condition.

paintballwannab 08-23-2012 12:58 PM

very nice, few minor marks. I would set it around $400+. Trade in being roughly half that, they still offered rather low, should've at least offered you $200.

Like I said before, sell it outright, dont' trade it in. You'll get a much better price. Heck even list it here if you don't mind shipping.

n2extreme1 08-23-2012 02:32 PM

Never sold a firearm online before. Do you have to ship through a dealer to a dealer? I'm not sure what's involved.

paintballwannab 08-23-2012 05:56 PM

Through a dealer to a dealer is best, but can cost more depending on the dealer. Either way it has to get delivered to a dealer, and you personally can not ship it via USPS yourself. Here is another good site, both to sell on and for more information as far as conducting the transaction. Guns for Sale - Online Gun Auction - Buy Guns at GunBroker.com

You can also sell local, depending on where you live and laws regarding that. Here's a good place also, similar to craigslist, but for guns:
ARMSLIST - Gun Classifieds

n2extreme1, if you still have that ladysmith i would give you $275 for that gun plus all dealer fees and shipping. let me know what you think.

Sorry but I sold the gun to a co worker.

I used to carry the cheaper version of that pistol. Nice little shooters!
