Nope.

My reaction when he stepped outside: "**** that, **** that, **** that, **** that, **** that (repeats)"

I got vertigo from watching this full screen.

I second your reaction, and the vertigo.

I don't have a fear of heights, in fact I've stood on the "Diving Board" at the Half Dome in Yosemite and looked down 8000 feet into Yosemite Valley and took a piss.

But I don't know about that job, I probably wouldn't do it either. But maybe I would. I love heights.
I'd hate to change the light bulb at the top of the CN tower - 1815 feet.

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them.”

I'm going to revive this one since its now something that pertains to me....I just got certified as a communications tower climber last week and its going to be awesome. Still trying to piece this whole thing together since my boss is new to that side of telecom too (he has been in the cell industry for over 20 years though). I am spending this week at the office trying to put together a list of materials, parts, tools and whatnot needed to get started and we already have jobs that start in 2-3 weeks!

Its going to be one hell of a thing, if anyone has any experience with this I would love some input.

I had a job where I climbed communication towers. Have some pretty cool photos from ~300' above Bentonville, AR (where Wal Mart home office is). I'll see if I can find them.

Tether your tools as much as practical. Having to climb all the way back down for that small wrench that just took out your truck's windshield Really sucks.

I hate it. Drive almost 8 miles takes 30 minutes.
