Gamestop screwed my little brother.

Need some advise here guys. My little brother preordered a video game at gamestop, and it was supposed to come with a bunch of free extras because it was a preordered game.

But it didnt. And my brother really shys away from confrintation so he never went back to the gamestop to get the matter resolved.

Its been maybe a week or so since the game was released, do you think i should just drag him down there and straighten this out with whomever is working there, or will they not have the ability to fix this?

edit: proof it was preorder purchased.
Do you think the gamestop would have record of it being purchased? Or if it was bought with a credit card, could it be stored in some list of receipts pretaning to that card?

Go down there with him and show proof that it was per-ordered.

Yes! But why not just go there and ask them instead of us here? I would think that they have CC records.

Gamestop will have a record of his pre order in the computer. I have done numerous pre orders with them and they always pull it up on the computer. His receipt from the purchase when he picked it up should show his previous balance plus the amount he payed when he picked it up. Go down there with him and get his goods for him.

In addition to P8ntninja, they're also linked via phone number and GS rewards card. So preorders can be looked up that way.

Also GS bonuses are also codes printed on the receipt not cards anymore (just encase that was overlooked)

Mind asking what game it was? I know a lot of the games come with the free stuff now. However, most of the items are digital. For example, I pre-ordered borderlands 2 to get the extra stuff. I was given a code. I got mine from amazon, but I know gamestop gives the code at the bottom of the reciept. All you have to do is put that code into whichever game and you're digital items appear.

However, if he threw the receipt away unknowingly, there probably isn't much they can do as I would imagine the codes are randomly generated. First thing I would do before going down there, is find the receipt if the promise was digital items.

if it was borderlands and you get the pre-order instore, the codes for the extras are on the receipt, at least mine were.
