I never liked dogs. But then my sister got two. I struggled with accepting them. It's only been a couple years but now I can't imagine living without them. They truly change how you interact with life. You start understand the smile, you understand the wag, the bark, the cuddle. I'm sorry for the loss bro, keep the good thoughts going about your family

45 minutes after the vet left his assistant came back. She gave my wife paw and nose prints from our old girl. It is great to be surrounded by such a supportive bunch of folks.

Sorry to hear about your loss man. Know one thing though, she is no longer suffering in pain, she may be gone but most certainly will not be forgotten. I know how it feels to lose a furry one. I still think about my beloved Bullet everyday...

sorry to hear about your dog, i know all too well the pain of loosing a dog. i have had to put down three dogs in the last 15-20 years, none was easy. it is like loosing your best friend.

I'm really glad I've never had to put down a pet. Jessie, the shepard/lab mix I grew up with, passed when I was away at university. She went in her sleep the day before my parents had resolved have her put down, which meant a lot to me.

This just made me realize that my cats are both 7 now...statistically speaking, that's half their lifespan. That's kinda depressing.
