I chalenge anyone that drinks Dr pepper or coke normally and knows the taste well. Don't drink ANY soda for one full month. Now after a month grab a diet Dr pepper or Diet coke and try it, it's pretty much the same damn taste as normal one now that your taste buds are accustom to less sugar. I did that with Dr pepper, didnt drink ANY soda for 3 months, grabbed a diet Dr pepper and couldn't tell the difference, now when i drank a normal one it was way too sweet.

Eh, if I'm drinking a soda, it has to be real. The fake sugars in diet things give me a really nasty headache, and now it screws with my guts too. I can't even drink those water mix-in things with fake sweetener. Not a pretty picture.

As for Moxie, it's bottled in Georgia according too the cans and bottles. Really big in Maine. I haven't seen it in ages since I moved to Alaska. At least I can find Big Red up here, so it's sort of a tradeoff.

Cheerwine is awesome. Fred Meyers has it with the fancy sodas in glass bottles. Mexi-Coke with the real sugar (or Throwback Pepsi) or any others with real sugar rock my socks as compared to corn syrup sodas.

Cherry coke with a hint of lemon. Preferably mixed up at a soda fountain and not out of a can.

Dr pepper substituted into the above (or even a half and half) is just as good.

Fun fact: One of the main flavors for moxie is Gentian root, which is also part of angostura bitters and makes good tea too!
