Track Stormzilla!

Really, who the heck calls a storm 'Stormzilla'?

Pretty cool site to track the storm

If it's more perfect than the perfect storm....

Is it the George Lucas of Storms?

Everyone expects the re-release to be better than the first, but really just ends up being the same old crap with the good stuff taken out.

Han still shot first.

How many "storms of the century" can we have over the course of a few years. Every time I watch the weather it seems they are talking about something like this.

I'm hoping it just winds up like Irene (well, for my area at least, Irene did get others pretty badly but it didn't do anything here but knock down some branches and produce some mild flooding), but I'm going to have to stock up a little bit tonight just in case. I'd hate to be the idiot who says no big deal then winds up stuck in an apartment with nothing but ramen and a flashlight for a couple of days.

I'll probably have to be the de-facto hurricane shelter for my girlfriend and my sis. They live together in a shore apartment that got flooding right up to the door during Irene.

I am hoping this turns out to sea, it is projected (one of them anyways, the one that seems most probable) to hit my area again, if it does t could very well flood out my job again and it would most likely close down, causing me and 1000 others to loose our jobs and countless others will loose thier homes. We were just flooded out last year, and also in 06 before that. I am lucky my home is out of flood damage area but not everyone is as fortunate.

Wait, what if the giant storm is actually concealing a giant bipedal sea-lizard, and the name is actually carefully planned out to keep people from panicking?

Yeah, I have to worry about that too, Irene brought the Delaware-Raritan Canal right up to the bottom of our loading dock at the plant last year, if this is worse we could very well have water inside. And since our entire business is coating and printing sheetmetal, any product inside would be toast if it got wet (rust issues).
