It looks promising!

Enough with the running zombies. They didn't run in the book, why ruin it by changing one of the basic principles?

Maybe I'll wait til Redbox has it. That looks like is has almost nothing to do with the book that I didn't even really like. As a standalone, fine, but with a name from a book, try again...

28 months will likely never happen :(

I wouldn't care much except for the fact they kept touting how it was based on the novel. Based on the preview, this has barely any link to the book. garbage.

But isn't that what we just watched the trailer for?

Doesn't look all that amazing to me

crap - what's with the running zombies again? Solanum-infected humans do not run - they barely shamble.

Did we all see the same trailer? Looks pretty awesome to me.

I know there were lots of development issues. The script was originally written by Babylon5 chief JMS. That script was leaked to Aint-It-Cool news, and did a fairly good job of following the book, which is pretty tough since the book does not have a linear, single plot.

The studios complained, and at the last second, had the entire JMS script dumped, and rewritten, focusing on the "action bits" from the book, and leaving out much of the rest. But in the current script, Brad Pitts role is working at the UN, recording the history of the aftermath.... so that sounds familiar.
