Lol English major!

(Had to)

It is indeed very hard to completely screw it up, but it's incredibly easy to make epic chili, meh chili with a wrong ingredient

Get over thyself. This is American English, Sunshine -- we can call whatever it is whatever we like and it is still correct.

See it's that kind of attitude that makes me crazy.

I mean, it's fine for things I don't care about, but when are people going to realize that I'm the only person that can be right about anything I think I'm right about?

Exactly! Who cares! Its like the ketchup on a hot dog thing. I'll put whatever I damn please on my dog. Mind you I would rather have a Chorizo or Bratwurst then a hot dog. Hot dogs are for campfires in my world.

Chili con carne - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Chili Appreciation Society International specified in 1999 that, among other things, cooks are forbidden to include beans, marinate any meats, or discharge firearms in the preparation of chili for official competition

Well then I suppose that settles it.......
That just brings up more questions. What the hell happened, which now requires a rule stating...

Quote:
G. PYROTECHNICS - No chili contestant may discharge firearms or use any pyrotechnics or explosives at a chili cookoff. Contestants discharging firearms and/or using explosives or other pyrotechnics will be disqualified from the chili cookoff.
Did someone stick an M80 in the bottom of their chili pot? Is someone secret ingredient shooting copper rounds into their chili?

Chili without beans is called stew.

Now you can say wicked things about my Mama or even take liberties with my wife, but if ya'll try to gimme chili with no beans, we're gonna fight.

I can't imagine that a man who thinks beans go in chilli has a wife OR a girlfriend.
