From Wikipedia:

On 8 September 2012, it was announced that Daniel Craig had signed on for two future Bond films and not five as previously reported. This would bring his total to five films, which would be two less than Roger Moore's record of seven.

Daniel Craig - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So that would be Bond 24 and 25.

Bond 24 is supposed to be released in 2014... so Mr. Craig will be 45 going on 46 during filming (46 at release) and if they follow the every two years with a release he'd be close to 48 at time of release for his last contracted film. At that point he may have had enough physically of portraying Bond.

That was just a financing issue (read as MGM was going bankrupt)... I read the other day that MGM is good with Bank Deutsche for a line of credit of like $500 Million dollars. Also they went for a 50/50 split on Bond 23/24 with Sony if MGM released something for Sony (Don't remember what it was).... So I don't think you will see the break like last time especially whit how much money Skyfall just made them.
