Blender/Food Processor for Baby Food Prep

Hello MCB'ers. I'm about 2-3 weeks away from starting food with my newborn. My wife and I decided we want to prepare his food from fresh, local fruits and vegetables but we are having a hard time finding a machine that can do a decent puree. I tried a trial run with our $19 Cuisanart without any success. The final product was way too lumpy. I've been reading reviews on blenders and food processors but reviews are mixed. So I thought I would ask, does anyone out there have personal experience using a specific blender or food processor with success? Thanks for reading!

My wife did this with much success.
When she gets home I'll ask her what she used.

Pro tip: Ice cube trays are a great way to freeze perfect ration sizes

If you have a KitchenAid stand mixer you could try the grinding attachment & small die first then blend.

Cuisinart Pro Custom 11. Wife says it works great, but it was pretty
Expensive She also said to research the best way to cook the individual foods, as in what to bake vs boil vs steam. She said the Maes a big difference in how they come out. Hope this helps!!

We have this one.... or something very close to it:
Amazon.com: Kidalog Baby Food Mill Grinder: Baby

We used it with our first son... and not so much with our youngest. Let them try food.. if they are still nursing (pediatrician and dad recomended) let them have the food to play with. Our youngest just wanted to "try" food from our plates for a while just to see what it was we were always putting in our mouth... but he wasn't dependent on solid food for a while.

We got one as a gift called the baby bullet (which is a terrible name) but it worked really well and came with little travel cups
