To me, Ooo exists in Finn's schizophrenic(only because we never see the 'real' world) mind. He sleeps in a sleeping bag in his tree house, which has a tiny, normal house in front; which is actually his parents house and we spends most of his time in his tree house in the back yard with his pet dog, because he has no friends. This explains why all the princesses love him and howa 12 yo can constantly defeat adult monsters and villains. The post apocalyptic, broken junk you see is the trash that he comes across walking the woods behind his house. Its kinda like Calvin when he's Spaceman Spiff, no other humans.

Still is annoying. Jake is a different character, so he should sound different from Bender. Especially when they are both major characters. Look at Dan Castellaneta, he does voices for an impressive number of characters, all sound different.

I didn't like the pilot episode so never really watched, but happened to get drawn into BMO Noire randomly, after that I started to develop an appreciation for the show. Still, some episodes are hit or miss.

Recently this show has been really impressing me. In recent episodes they have talked about tesseracts(fourth dimensional figures), the multiverse theory, even the process of the pineal gland in the brain combining triptamines to make dimethyltriptamine(also known as DMT, which is one of the most potent psychadelics). This show is one of the more intelligent shows being aired on cable tv.
"The world is like a ride at an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question: Is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid ever, because this is just a ride." And we ... kill those people." - William Melvin Hicks

hahahaha, it's a silly show but it's fun to watch. It's legitimately entertaining and light-hearted, I like the art-style and the whole premise. It's just a dude and his dogbrotherthing going on random adventures.

I love to watch it when I can.

and what Kmak said! Some of the subtleties in the show are crazy!!! references to like existential theories and stuff, and I saw a post on another forum about how some of the scenes and backgrounds depict the setting may be Earth after nuclear fallout (blown up buildings, pools of toxic waste, dormant unexploded bomb shells with caustic symbols in the ground). That's kinda why I enjoy watching some kids shows from time to time, if they're good. The creators and artists are adults, and they toss in some easter eggs for older viewers. Just adds another layer of expertise into their work, yknow?

My kids and I watch this show all the time - it's our new favorite.

LSP is the best - my wife's favorite character.
