Oh Hey, Thanks USPS

There must be a stand-in mail carrier, or the usual one is afraid of the snow... Either way, this is strange for USPS, never had this happen before.

about 5 letters crammed behind 2 packages, nothing breakable in the packages (luckily) but the letters were, well, squished

I'd FWD that to the postmaster general, or your local postmaster. That just isn't right. Seriously...do it.

obviously since the post office is not making any money they are cutting corners by not caring.....cram them in and move on to the next one. You want quality we obviously have to raise taxes to pay for more quality.

Not all workers are like that Brother Jerry. Correct they are losing money, but most still care about their jobs. Sending emails and making it known that things like this are going on, Vs not doing anything about it, is how things will get corrected and get them slowly back on track.

OR since it's the seasonal season, this could be the works of a temp worker who's new and didn't feel like going to the front door.

Either way, it's not right and needs to be emailed in to be corrected and prevent a headache in the future for someone.

If you check out my Exalt Barrel Swab review, you will notice in the first picture it is slightly bent hahha

Edit: good point, I'll let em know. It probably is just a new temp, so I won't harass them about it. It's sort of understandable in the holiday season. I still will choose USPS over everyone else

So? What's to stop me from driving by and nabbing his delivery?

Your logic (or distinct lack thereof) is terribly flawed. If someone at the PO isn't happy with their job and wants to cut those corners. Here's your pink slip and someone will be in to replace them tomorrow.

I've had a few little problems with usps lately too. I'll leave mail clipped to my mailbox to be taken out by them but sometimes it will suit there for a few days before it goes out. What I think they are doing is not coming by unless they have mail to bring to my apartment complex. We have those little wall mail boxes that are bolted right next to our doors. Another is its been about five days since my buddy sent me a package from Boise which is only about for hours away from here. It usually only takes about two says max to get stuff from Boise. I would still choose them over UPS and FedEx any day though.

Hi,

Few morsels of food for thought. Rural Route or City Route? Makes a difference. Rural carriers are generally paid for the route not per hour. City carriers get paid per hour and will take the time to drop the package to the location. Could be a fill in as some others suggested.

Also it looks like a UPS or Fed Ex job to me. I know for fact that some UPS drivers will park a small package or parcel delivery in a mail box because of their numbers matrix. Fed Ex (especially home) will drop some of their shipments at my mailbox which is only 20 feet from my door by straight line or 35 feet via a walk around the fence and deck. The UPS guy will always put the package at the door. Same with mail carrier.
