Early X-Mas Present To Myself

Well bought my self a little earlier X-Mas present. Been dreaming about this gun for weeks since it arrived at the local gun shop and finally decided to let it tag along home with me

.41 Rem Mag Ruger Redhawk with scope rings included

Just ordered 1000 pieces of brass from Starline and a set of dies so I'm almost ready to reload. Just have to pick bullets. I did buy two (very expensive) boxes of ammo to hold me over for a few weeks till my orders arrive.

I have a 657 S&W in 41mag. 41 Mag owners quickly learn to reload as if you don't, it goes $1.50+ every time you pull the trigger.

Pretty sure I'm going to hear "Cha-ching" the first time I shoot instead of "bang!" haha

I bought my 41 Mag new in 1991. It went cha-ching back then too. Reloading cast bullets are a good way to reduce the pain. H110 is a good powder choice to use too.

Not too worried about it as long as I can reload. So far I've saved enough from reloading to completely pay for all of my reloading things three times over, and that's only been in one year. I'm leaning towards some Missouri Bullets for my lead cast choice. Probably pick up some Noslers too as I like they're jacketed ammo and it's not real spendy. Picked up some Universal powder to try. Already have some H110, Blue Dot, Unique, and a bunch of others to give a whirl as well, so plenty of powder to choose from.

She's a beaut! And Reloading is a must with certain calibers. Like .338 Lapua Mag. I THOUGHT that's what the gun was chambered in. It was actually chambered in $5 bill.

I have a 41Mag Specific reloading manual I bought years ago. Let me know if you run out of 41Mag data to try.

My 375H+H was like that. I don't great enjoy reloading but it was unshootable with other options
