Lethal Hobbies

I must have two of the worst hobbies to be involved with.
Paintball and trains.
one of the saving graces is, that there are no paintball shows or conventions that I can get to locally.(depending on your point of view)
Not so much for trains.
From now until after Christmas, there are shows every week to every other week. (TCA convention in October is the granddaddy of them all)
Every time I have some $$ saved for paintball, up pops a show or a great deal and the saved money is gone on trains.
today I picked up one of these. (goes with the passenger cars I picked up 2 weeks ago)

And I ordered the GG-1 set of this. (you need adobe 6 or better to view)

This baby is going to be run around the ceiling of my daughters room (she loves daddies trains)
It's a good thing I am back to work now or I wouldn't be able to afford either

Am I the only one thinking the following?

Train-mounted paintball guns.

Ha! and double Ha!

I raise Azzy, Custom rifles, and Machine tools - I'm ogling a Brute CNC Mill right now. Only $4K.

I'm not going to even mention some of the stuff I used to be heavily involved in, like boats, and Nitro Drag racing. Paintball is downright CHEAP compared to some obsessions.

Yep dem hobbies get expensive.

Try Paintball, Firearms, Tuner Car, 4X4 Truck, and Machine Shop out for fun. Paintball is actually my 'cheap' hobby.

Azzy is forgetting all the swords and junk he has to buy for his anachronistic wifey!

If they do that, please don't let them use Elijah Wood for Mel Gibson's character...
