I carry a Spyderco C-16, pretty good blade. Nothing too exceptional, IMO, but it's strong, light, good lock, cuts through everything really easy, blade keeps its shape well, and the serrations are a perfect pattern. Gunna pick up a Cold Steel Recon 1 here soon, or something similar, we'll see. the C-16 was a limited run, but they have many similar knives and I would gladly suggest them to anyone. Cold Steel's stuff is pretty impressive too. I'm not a fan of SOG, feels too flashy and less practical. Gerber's like the household name in knives I think. I know a ton of people with Gerbers who love them. |

If we do a deal, where you are sending me something, please don't use UPS. Out of the last three packages, one was delivered to my neighbors next door (Damn thieves), one was delivered with an item that was grossly not what I had bought, and the third wasn't delivered, but claimed to be. | ||

Not a fan of tool logic myself, been in an office for years and found people get freaked by a tac/utility knife so I tend to carry leatherman tools, I currently use the Juice the orange one, as a multi tool people will not be as nuts about it. Gerber also makes some nice tools with good blades on them, stay away from any of Bear Gillus?? stuff it is cheap and mass produced. That is my 2 cents.

do military still carry ka-bar blades? From experience, ka-bar stuff is pretty cool if you're into knife fighting, but my pops just picked up a ka-bar tanto and I am not impressed with the edge at all. Blade feels crazy strong, and the grip is nice but meh... |
