Meh, my buddy's hedgehog is a bit too high strung. Which is fine, maybe they're just not the best species to keep as a pet, is all. I'm just saying that if I were covered in spines, maybe I wouldn't be quite so paranoid all the time. Then again, it is albino, and we think that maybe she is blind. I can understand being a bit more freaked out by the world at large if you can't even see it.

oh yeah they're definitely not for everyone. I had alot of unconventional pets though growing up, de-scented skunk and alligator are probably at the top of the list.

not nearly as hyper or full of stank. they also get pissy when a bunch of different people are handling them. its not really a "sharing" pet if that makes sense. if you did get one, get it young and get it to bond with you, MAYBE try one other person. anyone else is pretty much just a potential threat.

and i will say, this is based off my personal experiences. there is always the chance you wouldn't experience the same results
