DUDE, DW! How you always saving me money?? May also be what moonweasel was referring to.

EDIT: found one. Looks like the same key moonweasel posted. Gonna ask local locksmiths during the week if they can work with a key like that, or better yet, if they have them in stock themselves for a similar price.

Check the FCC ID #'s on your tag and compare to those on ebay. They should be on the back of the unit..

Cause I'm DW The more money you save... the more you spend with me! XD

I have a '12 accord and the key is obnoxious. I've been looking at picking up an acura TSK key since it's a flipblade? and goes into the fobb to save space.

Ebay keys can be pretty hit or miss, we stopped cutting keys for customers bringing their own for 4 track/wave keys, they damaged our cutters, at $400 a bit not worth it. Although that style key should be fine.

The dealer would probably send him to a locky to cut it anyway.
Hopefully a local locksmith should be able to do the whole thing for him. bypassing a dealer completely. Just have to find one that can do it, and for a better price than the dealer.

As a heads up late model anything is a pain in the ***, if it's too new, you may be stuck with the dealer.

Of course most of my advice is locally based. Mileage may vary back in the US.
Different markets can make a big difference in this sort of thing.

Just what I like to hear...

Eh. I need to go bitch at them anyway. Trans is kicking more than usual and I am displeased with its performance in .0001 in of snow.

I also have honda by the balls since my finger got caught in a random hole on the steering wheel column and literally skinned my finger.

I figure that they'll throw me some bones based on the above and due to the fact that I have gotten a few sales for them.. hmmm

Reminds me, i need to take the yaris to a dealer, anyway. There's a pesky recall on the power window buttons overheating to the point they can cause burns.

Didn't read the entire recall info, dunno what damage it can cause to the car itself. I learned about it on yahoo news WELL before the toyota dealership we purchased from sent me the recall letter, so at that point i didn't bother reading it. Granted, i moved about 2500 miles from the original dealership, but still, mail-forwarding doesn't take months.

Hasn't happened in mine yet, although it's been so cold lately, a little more heat in the car wouldn't be a bad thing...
