They are made in California or Oregon if I recall correctly. There is at least one or two in every pawnshop/gun shop up here. After watching that video, I think I might get me a new .22

I'm really curious if .22 is California legal, in semi-auto of course. I know that rimfire doesnt technically classify as an assault qualification, but it's still nearly impossible to find magazines for a Ruger 10-22 in larger than the stock 10 round here. I wonder if that's because it's illegal, or if people just dont want to take the risk.

I think I heard any magazine over 10 is illegal in California. I think it includes pistols also. Not 100% positive, though.
