Calicos are awesome guns... I bought a 50 rnd calico magazine as research material for my fsq project.

The Russians have something similar that may be standard issue soon.

But, how reliable are those Calico's? I remember them being fairly popular in gun mags in the 80s- hardly ever heard about them since.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying a Calico M-100, for dirt cheap, from a near by gun shop about 8 years go.



100 round of .22 semi auto plinking joy. Had the cash in hand but decided to save it for something "practical".

I had a 9mm version, 100 round mag and it functioned flawlessly, sad days for many a groundhog.

Looks like it's still in use with select units. Helps when 60% of the parts are the same as the AK-74, too
