Try the fiberglass resin (without the fiber). We refinished a counter top with that and OMG is it hard and durable.

Jinx, Yes, I did not buy the Kleer Kote, but used their epoxy laminating resin and fiberglass cloth for a boat. Everything was packaged well and worked great. I know their ordering system is sorta old school, but I'm sure you can call and place an order. Also their shipping prices are fair, even though they are not shown I think they just charge you whatever UPS charges them. Again, call or email them, I emailed them prior to purchase and they were quick to answer.

I went ahead and ordered the bar top. I got the shipping email and it should be here Friday! Pics and a video will be up later of the table.

Look around and see if you can find any info on whether or not the stuff reacts in a bad way to any rubber gloves. Wearing half a dozen latex gloves while working with that stuff can be a real blessing, as you quickly pull them off one layer at a time as needed till you run out and have to replace them on your hands. Don't screw around with epoxies and your bare skin, and do remember to use in areas with good clean air flow. Passing out and gluing a table to your face will have your friends laughing at you for the rest of your life. (Trust me, I still laugh at a friend who glued himself to a boat more than a decade ago.) |

Yes sir! The stuff is supposed to be indoor safe and I have a large fan pointing out to pull air through.

Armourcoat clear plastic resin. I used it on a guitar body and neck. Looks good so far. Watch for runs.

Done! The half gallon was the perfect amount. ![]() The corners of the triangles are Dogfish head caps that I had been saving for awhile.
