yellowed clear proflex bottoms

Was wondering if anyone out there had any tricks on how to get the yellowish tint out of clear proflex bottoms or frames?

I'm trying this method as we speak: Secret Sauce - Restore My Sneakers

I was able to get all of the ingredients for less then $20 and it will make a lot of sauce. Not sure how well it works but hopefully it does for a lot less than Sea Glow.
