Anyone notice the jump in price to ship flat rate to Canada?

Shipping a small flat rate box and doing it the cheapest way possible is now $20 instead of the $10 before.

Gah why cut saturday delivery, that's one of the best things about usps. Why not just not deliver on mondays or wednesdays instead? I would have to guess 75% of my packages arrive on saturday due to the supplier getting my order on monday, then shipping on tuesday or wednesday.

I sure did. I tried to ship something to Canada yesterday and backed out immediately.

They want to cut Saturday delivery to cut cost, yet when there is overtime (there always is) they give the option to the employees that make the most money ($30+ an hour and they get first pick of overtime). They need to rethink the way they pay the employees, not do cuts like this

It's the government. they need to re-think quite a few things.

Even without Saturdays, still the best option out there. For five bucks, I can send a small package anywhere in the country, and it gets there in 3 days. UPS and Fedex can't touch that.

unless you send it in on Friday, in which case it won't get there until Wed.

glad things worked out for you guys. USPS is my last choice to send stuff. I find they are no better or worse in losing packages compared to UPS, but at least UPS already builds in some insurance and you get some tracking.

I only thought to post because a kid sent a Spyder Flash he bought with his savings in for service. USPS lost it and now he has nothing. i felt really bad for him, wish i could have helped him more.
