EDIT: And I am pretty sure that violates OSHA (or equivalent) regulations. I occasionally work at heights and I have never seen free climbing permitted, ever.

This picture makes my stomach churn:

I used to work for a firm that did structural analysis for Telecoms, and we designed antenna struts exactly like those... they aren't for hanging.

Don't worry, its only a "few" feet off the ground.

Can I pack a parachute for the free climb?

I'd be alright for everything except the last hundred feet or so where they are free climbing outside of the structure.

No...just...No...

The roof of a two story house is about as high as I'll go. Although, I might not be too bad until the free climb part.

I do 30 foot towers on a regular basis with an occasional trip up to 50 feet. The 50 footers are so narrow that I cannot put my feet on the same rung. Once a year I make the trip up to 300' on one of my bridges. (headed there next week I will try to take a few pictures) I am glad I do not have to do what they guy in the video does.
