Batteries of the future!

My inner geek likes this.

See The Scientific Accident That May Change The World (Or At Least Your Battery Life)

Now, if they can just retrofit something to an old revvy hopper, I'll be all set!

THAT. is why I like science.

"Whoops. I just made a difference in mankind for the better."

All the best comes from the mistakes and stuff. That's so cool :)

No more running to the store in the middle of a day to get batteries for your marker. Cha ching

Ok that's pretty incredible, I really hope that more comes out of this.
I love the idea of charging something to full charge in 30 seconds.

Well thats cool.

Awesome use for all those old AOL cd's as well! probably not an efficient use of optical drives though lol. 1 battery made = 1 optical drive full of carbon and water slurry. kudos for novel ideas for producing the stuff. i would like to win a nobel prize for creative uses of pencil lead dust and scotch tape!

Something else for the petroleum companies to buy out before it can become available to the public. I can imagine the panic within the petroleum's higher up's with the thought of cars being able to charge up in full within a minute with no gas sold.

I'm kinda sad that you mention that, I wish people for once would just not sell out and continue on the idea.

Wasnt trying to bring you down, I for one would love to see this get off the ground and make it to the public. I hate the fact that $ has killed so many brilliant ideas that would be fundamentally better for the environment just in the name of the dollar.
