help on shipping out a airsoft rifle
 

so im trying to sell my airsoft rifle on ebay soon but i cant find a box that it will fit in to its full length without disassembling it. I know that if i disassemble the gun, the buyer *might* put the gun together improperly without knowing it and then blaming me on the item. so my my question is, i have the M4 rifle box but i don't know how to ship the rifle out without UPS raising an eyebrow( it does say M4 on the box) if i sell it. so is there anyone on here who can help me out? Any suggestions or idea are welcomed.

Can you cover up the M4 with anything else? Like sharpie or colored tapes?

i guess i could but i was going to try to find another box to put the original box in for the buyer so it wouldn't be ruined. you think UPS sells a large box for such an item of a size?

You could bubble wrap the box good then add a couple layers of butcher paper.

I was shipping something long and the best box was from a Remington rifle I had and cut up a second box that covered all of the logos and words. When I was done it was hard to tell it wasn't that way to begin with.

Brown butcher paper. Brown paper grocery bags, if your store still uses them. Cover the box entirely. Done.

This. Use two of them, turn them inside out, so it is nothing but brown on the outside. That way, you have plenty of room for writing your and the buyers address.

both of my sporting goods stores dont have any boxes...i guess i'll try to make a box so i can put the original box into without ruining it...

All that is brown is good.

Except for UPS.

make a box ... go get a bunch of cardboard and then cut each sid out ... tape into a box and your done
