Even that is overproduced now. At the start it was just a few guys goofing off, trying to see what they could get away with. Now it's more like a TV show than anything else.

they had to go that route since insurance company and had to be secrets with some myths they are trying to bust. i still love show but with some stuff they been doing lately. the insurance company make it hard for them to goofing off most time since stuff they are doing is not safe. they even said in few myths could not goof around do to fact insurance company hold them back at times.

Me too. I think I am a pretty big nerd so I liked true scientific and historic documentaries. This crap they got on now just makes my skin crawl. Like what does Top Gear have to do with history? Don't get me wrong I like BBC Top Gear but the US version SUCKS I am tired of seeing 1000 car challenges. Test a fricken car that I might buy!! Another one I cant stand is TLC and Honey boo bo. How is that on The Learning Channel. Seriously what can I possibly learn from that other than people can be entertained by the dumbest crap.

We need to lobby for people like Bill Nye to get together and form a new TV channel with real programming. I would pay for cable again if it included that channel, and it likely would be the only channel I bothered to watch. (Except maybe HBO for stuff like Game of Thrones.)

Speaking of a learning channel, I do not watch TLC anymore, because I have learned to not watch it or I would throw things at my TV.

This ^, I haven't had T.V. for years now, and I don't miss it a bit. I do watch movies on occasion, but, I don't give a s#!t about the stuff that programs America these days. I'm reading a real interesting book on Edo period Japan right now, good stuff...

The Learning Channel has been crap for at least a decade. It used to rival The Discovery Channel.

And The Discovery Channel hasn't been that great since... well... the late 1990s?
