Ha ha, That was good for a laugh. I'll never cease amazement at the innovation of Americans. Really? A fire extinguisher? Looked like one guy went for a gun, or mace... I can see how people just walked away though. Recently I caught a thief and after he caught a beating, everyone was in uproar and now I'm the bad guy. The first thing mentioned was lawsuit. We really have produced our own defeat.

Otherwise everyone thinks "oh, someone else will help that person getting strangled in the elevator".

But holy hell this could have gone real bad for the experimenters. I noticed at least one or two guys jumping on them. Things could get real violent. What if a cop walked in?

Interesting though.

Bystander effect

There was a guy a year or two back that got stabbled trying to help out a lady that was getting mugged. He basically laid on the sidewalk and bled to death in the middle of the day with people walking by, nobody ever called 911.

Last year I saw a video of a 2 year old girl that gets run over around 3 times and people just walk by her and bike by her... Disturbed the hell out me. I would post it but its upsetting.

That nelspot never needs lube, shoots 2,000 ball per second, never needs reloaded, doesn't require an air source and when the paintball hits somebody the result is the same as if Chuck Norris round house kicked them.
He nick named the gun Reggie.

Need a law that states if you fail to react (at least call authorities) you get jailed. HARD.

I believe most states have that law, but how are you going to enforce it?

I don't see scumbags, I see self-preservation. How many people post in the members section ranting about trying to help someone and getting screwed over? How many movie/tv plots have someone getting involved and getting into trouble? I bet in a lifetime, you are exposed to instances(real and fiction) where staying out of it or distancing yourself means staying out of trouble much more than getting involved made everything better. Even video guy, his actions seem bad, but his recording would help in the end. Sorry, but people act in their own interest. Even the people that help probably only do so because they would want someone to help them if they were in that situation.
