Custom Project Help- Mag Follower, i need a good epoxy or....

I need to convert some magazines for some real steel to only feed 50beowulf and i need to make some custom followers. I am looking for a good hard grade 2 part epoxy or something similar that is non porous once hardened and good and strong, i also need to be able to sand and shape it. I will be using Magpul followers and forming a new top on them to feed single stack big bore ammo through my AR and so it wont feed standard ammo so i dont become a high level criminal next year in the "great" state of NY.

A good Fiberglass epoxy, or even a 5 minute epoxy could work. Just be careful to avoid making air bubbles while mixing (I find a toothpick does well)

Five minute epoxy (plastic weld) comes in a purple package, two part and works great.. ive used it and its solid ,takes a beating, can be sanded and painted.. runs abouy $8/9 for a tube. at any hardware store..

used it to mend two sp1 bodies together and did a great ajob of it.

west systems slow cure with the bonding flller mixed in is very very hard once cured. It's what I use when I need to add a hard tip to wooden paddles or oars. I think it would be ideal for your application.
