They had a little memorial before the Flames game at work tonight. Played a few songs, was pretty cool.

That nelspot never needs lube, shoots 2,000 ball per second, never needs reloaded, doesn't require an air source and when the paintball hits somebody the result is the same as if Chuck Norris round house kicked them.
He nick named the gun Reggie.

This one was always my favourite if it wasn't for this song I`d have never even known about what happened with that bridge in the first place. That`s were Stompin`Tom always shined he actually stayed in Canada to sing songs about Canada rather than jumping ship to the U.S to sell out and forgetting where he came from like so many others. His epic refusal to accept a Juno award was just icing on the cake.

Quote:
Gentlemen:I am returning herewith the six Juno awards that I once felt honoured to have received and which, I am no longer proud to have in my possession. As far as I am concerned you can give them to the border jumpers who didn't receive an award this year and maybe you can have them presented by Charley Pride. I feel that the Junos should be for people who are living in Canada, whose main base of business operations is in Canada, who are working toward the recognition of Canadian talent in this country and who are trying to further the export of such talent from this country to the world with a view to proudly showing off what this country can contribute to the world market. Until the academy appears to comply more closely with aspirations of this kind, I will no longer stand for any nominations, nor will I accept any award given. Yours very truly, Stompin' Tom Connors
Truly we have lost a man that may be the one and only truly national musician we ever had that was here solely by choice and not just because he was waiting for a U.S label to sign him up.
