Yes, we did this.
I can imagine YOU doing this.
Musta looked like snorkelling through the woods.

But actually, I only fog up if I get overexcited while playing.
That doesn't happen very often anymore.
Honestly, maybe a half-dozen times in 25 years of playing I wished I had a fan.
I do know that JT had an insert for their masks that would hold prescription lenses...

I'm thinking more along the lines of something like this. Maybe RAP4 will bring it to America. They seem to try out things other companies won't. Maybe RAP4 will hire this guy to make a mask system for paintball or get this mask to USA ANZI specs.

Funny stuff: You know the pictures you can get at Skirmish of you or your group playing Paintball?

The first time I played the PMI Nationals there (84?) the team I was with then the "Pursuit Widowmakers" from Ipswich MA had a team portrait taken. I bought a copy and proudly brought it home to show my mother just what I was doing as she had a difficult time understanding "Paintball".
Back then, the word "Paintball" hadn't been coined yet to explain our hobby.
There we were, in all our camoflaged glory, each and everyone of us with a white stripe across our foreheads.

She asked me "Why do you all paint your foreheads white? Is that some kind of rule? Is it a "tribal" thing?"

I tried to explain, but she just didn't understand.......................

Field of view would be terribly restricted on something like that I would think.

Only works if you're in the US... Won't ship to Canada.

I have never felt the need for a fan. In hot weather my face is cooler beneath my mask and tinted mirrored lens than with the mask off.

So am I the exception or are all the guys that need fans guys that wear glasses? And if you wear glasses..how does fog tech work for you or have you used it?

I think we don't have super well developed paintball mask fans because most people don't feel the need to add that complexity and cost and weight to their eye protection.

Fogtech worked ok till I started sweating. Fog Doc works a little better. It also depends where Iam in the US. In Cali, hardly any if no fog at all. Virginia, depends on temp. Wash/Oregon always wet and cold, major fog for me.
