Need some computer help, hackers and security folks welcome.

Alright, I acquired 13 dell laptops from company x ( declassing them ) a few months back and they are all passcode locked as well as bios locked. My original intentions where to install Ubuntu via USB drive start up and wipe the employees data, as well as the companies. I've tried a few different recommended methods but have come up empty handed. What should I take as my next step? Does dell have a back door bios password? Should I contact dell?

6 are d620's and 7 are d610's.

Thanks for your help!

I do believe the backdoor password is Dell.
It has been a while since I have had to reset a bios tho.
If that will not work then you are going to have to pull the main battery and the cmos battery. For 60 to 90 minutes.

I hope this helps

I believe you have to contact Dell. They will give you an unlock password based on the service tag of each computer.

the "company" I work for... all the BIOS passwords are "password". once there, change boot order to USB, and you should be golden.
