I've recently sold off a few gun and held back on selling the sporteried Enfield I've had since I was 13 due partially for nostalgia, but mostly since I thought it wasn't worth the hassle for a mere $100 if I was lucky. Dang, for nearly $300 that would have been worth it.

Surplus is as metion not much. During the 90s, the US Army starte cutting out alot of gear. GORTEX got rid of alot of surplus clothing. When it hit the market, all the WW2 and Vietnam era stuff sold.
Militaries are liter and faster now. Tecnology has actually worked for gear to make it better. I think I might have a Green field Jacket laying around. Don't hold your breath on that. Last I looked was around 90 and they were selling for $100 used.
GOTEX is the new wear, it's multi purpose and really doesn't wear.
REI prices are worse.
