I quit smoking...

I quit smoking a few months ago.
Have calculated out how much I save each month.

Cigarettes in Sweden costs about $ 8 package. I smoked 1-2 packs a day ... we say I put $ 12 each day on cigarettes. it will be approximately $ 360 a month.

Cost of gasoline every time I went off to buy new. $ 50 for gasoline a month.

When I was in the store and bought cigarettes I usually bought a Redbull and a bar of chocolate cost: $ 5 daily.

It is about: $560

Then we have my health, but it can not be measured in money.

Have since I stopped smoking put that money on Automags / Micromags and parts. There will be many many Automags / Micromags.

The best thing I have ever done is to quit smoking.

Congrats. Did you use any type of patch or pill? It really does add up quick.

Been a week since my last roll up, chewing nicotine gum and puffing on an electronic cig so I've not really given up.

I quit last year, I hate to give credit to the politicians and our nanny state but at over $10 a pack I couldn't afford to smoke anymore. 3 to 4 packs a week, that's $120 to $160 a month. That's approaching the more serious drug habit territory for something that, while highly addictive, does nothing compared to other drugs.

I've never considered exactly that. High taxes on tobacco can make the price of illegal drugs look reasonable, as far as such habits go. I've heard the comment on TV before between cigarettes and pot, but didn't extrapolate to taxes and other drugs.

While I think smoking evolved too far into our everyday society, I find that application of taxes pretty scary.

That's going to be another loss of revenue for the government, people quitting one way or another as the wave of old people goes along.

That nelspot never needs lube, shoots 2,000 ball per second, never needs reloaded, doesn't require an air source and when the paintball hits somebody the result is the same as if Chuck Norris round house kicked them.
He nick named the gun Reggie.

Equally addicting.

Good job.

I promised my daughter that I would quit. Had smoked 22 years, so thought it was time. Uses no patch or pill, did not want to become addicted to it. But now I'm addicted Automags / Micromags instead ... Have bought a Automag every month since I became a member here...Must have one more..or maybe two.
