ABS is what lego is made of... it's quite a popular plastic for making small structural parts.

it means you can make your own legos, dolls and guns or parts for a gun. there been video of people making guns. they can also be use to make dolls too. since you have to buy special type of plastic use to make them with 3d printers. someone call in local talk show from wzzr 101.7.94.3 2pm to 7pm show. he give show on how 3d printers can make dolls that would take longer to make by hand a lot faster. they also talk about how college was able to 3d print a basic gun and how its not really safe to use since all parts are plastic and chance of someone get hurt since plastic not that really thick.

I just watched the video of the "Gun made entirely from a 3D printer", but it turns out to contain lots of metal parts.. like the barrel, breech, springs, etc.

It still has lots of plastic, making it sorta of a dangerous zipgun?

Im friends with the people who own QU-BD. They have printers assembled and calibrated for cheaper than that. Filiment is cheaper too. They also have a Milling attachment for theirs. If you guys would like, I can swing by their shop for some review of their products.
