My guess is that the Sharks continue to play well but will falter in the next round against Chicago. Rangers goal tending keeps Boston from moving on. Staal returns?

As much as I want Ottawa to win, I think this is the likely outcome in the east.

My bracket had all the correct choices until the Capitals lost last night. 99th percentile on nhl.com bracket challenge! These are the 4 choices I had before the playoffs started except I had the Bruins beating the Capitals. After watching the Rangers play they may beat the Bruins. The Penguins aren't looking great, and I have them winning the cup..

Also wow what a comeback by the Bruins last night, best comeback in a long time! These are going to be some very good match ups.

Really not sure what to expect from Pitts vs Ottawa. Could be a blow out or it could be a tight series.

Unlike the Mtl series, Pitts has a very tough, hard hitting team with obvious untouchable offensive flare.

If Ottawa is going to win defense needs to be airtight, Anderson needs to be MVP and we NEED to stay out of the box.

Thats about how I see round 2 going. Although I would like to see the Sens vs Rangers in the eastern final.

pens cant lose... bettmann wont let them
as long as lundvquist stays strong, bruins cant win...

kings win, because sharks dont play good playoff hockey
wings win, because they live for the playoffs

honestly... if the hawks have goalie issues (ie ray emery gets into OLD form) then wings can squeek it out, but i love my wings and idk if i'd put money on em pullin out the upset :/

And Sens need to find the back of the net, which surprisingly worked for them against the Habs.

9 minutes to Sens/Pens game 1!!!

EDIT: WOW great first period!

Not too concerned about the Ottawa loss...

Not to take anything away from Pittsburgh but I feel Ottawa really beat themselves. Ottawa needs to be a desperate, hungry team to win and we just didn't have enough intensity in game 1. Combined with turnovers and penalties, the pens were able to score more than 3 which will be the kiss of death for us.

i expect next game Ottawa comes out with a lot more intensity and a lot more hitting. if they can do that and stay out of the box next game will go much better for ottawa. Only thing that worries me is that I really dont feel Crosby, Malkin or Iginla played anywhere close to their best games :S That is the scary part.
