Video Review Please
I finished my 2006 POG weekend "highlight" video and Carter posted it on MCB TV. Please check it out and provide feedback here, this is my first editing experience. Also if anyone knows of good music to use for any paintball video please provide so I can hunt those down.

LOL! Your right but that aside I like how its done...most PB videos you see around the net are too obnoxious. I thought your video looked dare I say professional?
One thing that I didnt notice when we were down in Sac was that since your right handed maybe you should move the camera over to the other side of your mask so we can see what/who your shooting at.
I owed you those pics anyways.

-Way too many special effects. You do not need the help of the special effects to make the video more intense or action packed. The "camera work" is already full of action.
-There were also too many transitions.
-A simple fade is much better than those special transitions.
-Don't use as many pictures, and insert them in order to tell a story (not so random)
Sorry if this seems too critical, but you asked for it And these are just my opinions and are in no way professional, so take it for what its worth.
On a good note:
-Great music selection
-Appropriate level between the music and the sound
-Sequence of footage was done well
-And most importantly sweet marker!!!
Overall i really enjoyed watching the video, but I do think it could be a lot better with the great footage you have! I would love to see more of your stuff in the near future, so keep at it!!!

Thank you kicker for your feedback. The pictures were put in order of the day it happened, I tried to remember which field we were on when the photos were taken but I couldn't, so I hoped to get them in some sort of order. I also wanted to show pics of everyone who was there and not just a "Check out how cool I am video". This is my first video so I was playing with all the flashy transitions since the program had it, I guess I could try the plain ones. I have more ideas and I plan on getting more stuff during Fall Castle. The ending was the actual ending of my play for the day. Before Craig gogged me I took a "core sample" which was caught on tape and I hurt my ribs pretty good, that and it was pretty cold so I sat the rest of the day and ate chips and dip till we left.

Just a suggestion here: cut down on the transitions. It makes it hard to follow what's going on.
