Dude, sippy cups are the freaking best. When you live around and with people that are CONSTANTLY putting their drinks on the the floor and getting knocked over you need to do something.

Beer in a sippy cup...almost no alcohol abuse or broken glass....

Ta2maki has the right idea IMO.

Um... obviously it's a sign for all of us to renounce our false beliefs and worship Neb-Sanu, the god of wheels, plantetary axes, and rotisserie chicken.

The minute vibrations from people walking on the floor causes the heavy side to swing down.

Not mysterious. It's like the old vibrating football game. Give the statue rubber feet or a mat to sit on and it will stop spinning.
stop breaking the hopes and dreams of the superstitious, next thing you tell me those statues that drink milk are doing it by capillary action.

I was thinking it had something to do with temperature changes - like during the day with the sun up and the museum open the change in temp caused a subtle enough change in the display case to cause the balance of the statue to change such that it slowly turned

depending on the time of year and time of day my front door either swings open on its own, or swings closed. it is all temperature related
