"Avoid the following on NeverWet surfaces: detergents, soaps, oils, solvents, high-pressure water." - From NeverWet's Youtube channel.

The stuff isn't impenetrable and isn't abrasion-resistant, just FYI. It's already been tested and won't repel PEG, so you won't have to worry about it coming to a paintball field near you!

Disclaimer: I'm not trying to bash the product or anything, I think it's a miracle of science and I'm still very curious to try it - if the stuff sells well, the science will progress and hopefully we'll get some heavier-duty versions down the road.

I've also heard it's a bit of a "frosted" surface, so you wouldn't want to put it on something clear... But maybe v2? *sad trombone*

(Also, doesn't Rain-X already do that?)

Wow,

I knew there was a catch. I figured it would be the durability of the product. Guess I was right.

Just clean your windshield really well, then put a couple coats of wax on it. I haven't used my wipers in years.

I wonder if it is food safe? Probably not, but imagine if it was: doing the dishes would take no time.

Isn't water the universal solvent?

yea.... This stuff sucks ***. Don't waste yall's money. It rubs off with your finger even after the 12 hour curing time. You'd think it had the durability of spray paint with a name like Rust-Oleum.
