Contour vs Go Pro vs ???

I've been toying with the idea of a helmet cam for paintball use for a while now. But when I found out this weekend that my Christmas vacation is going to be sky/SCUBA diving, snorkeling, sailing, parasailing, jet skis, etc in Key West, it made me want one even more.

I get the impression that Go Pro and Contour are the two main players. For those of you who have used one or both, what are the benefits of each? Are there any other brands I should look at? I need it to record good HD quality video, but mountable on a paintball mask, SCUBA goggles, or helmet, and it has to be waterproof to at least 130'.

Thoughts?

Sony AS-10 is a contender
You can also look at the SJ1000 on Ebay....great deal and pretty good quality as well.
Here is a review of the SJ1000

GoPro. It really stands out in how diverse it is. Contour is awful underwater, and it doesn't have the same support the GoPro does. All sorts of underwater mounts and filters for the GoPro.

Thanks. I was leaning toward it since it's just waterproof by design and doesn't need a case (and looks much lower profile), but that's the kind of tip and info I was looking for.
The GoPro seems awful bulky. Does it ever cause y'all any problems due to size?

Nope. None whatsoever. It sits right on top of my lens. People always say it's a big target, but fail to realize my head is right behind the camera. So if the camera got hit my head would have been hit anyways.

I love my Sony ActionCam. It has built in image stabilization, record 1080p at 39/fps and can also record in super slow motion. Waterproof case is available. Only downsudes, controls not accesible while in WP case and it is a little bulky. Overall, B+

Yeah, I'd do the Contour in a heartbeat if I was only doing stuff on land. But underwater use is a major factor since I dive so much.

Actually, that said...SlvrDragon50, can you elaborate on "awful underwater"? How so? I've watched some footage from them that other divers have posted, and it doesn't look bad at all. Of course, they're shallow dives (20' max from the look of it), so I have no idea what it looks like at deeper depths where there's less light.
