Inventions you wished you patented first

When I was younger we used to use laundry detergent bottles; the ones with the spouts to fill our hoppers and pods. 5 or 6 years later Paintball caddys became available...

What other sorts of inventions did you guys come up with only to see it mass produced by someone else years later?

On a side note You can also thank me and a friend of mine for Bud Light Lime. lol

lol...yea me and a friend of mine were getting drunk at a party and we were drinking bud light and Corona. After awhile and a few beers we were like "hey why don't we put the lime in the bud light?!" We were joking around that we should patent the idea and like 2 years later i seen a new commercial for bud light lime on tv lol It was a sad day...

RC fishing boat attachment.

Umbrella Rig for fishing. They are all the rage now, I was making them and catching fish when I was 13, I will be 30 next month......

Many other things I thought of and saw invented some time later I have forgot about.

I thought of the sleeved blanket about ten years before the Snuggie came out. I was laying on the couch reading a book, with a blanket pulled up only to about armpit level so my arms could reach out to hold the book. It occurred to me that if the blanket had sleeves, I could be both entertained and warm. Never did I imagine it could be a marketable product.

I know a guy who thought of the internet years before it became reality. He showed me the dated plans and sketches and everything. He just didn't have the means to make it happen.
