Movies I thought Rocked as a kid... but now know otherwise

You know those movies.. the ones you thought were the best, and watched over and over. 15 years later, you catch it again, and say... "What did I ever see in this movie?"

American Ninja - Loved it... Man the acting is horrible...

Highlander - Spawned a series - that plot... barely palatable.

Remo Williams - If you even know what I'm talking about, you'll agree with me. Loved that movie beyond belief as a kid. Now... Truly sad. But, I will still watch it if it is on. Odd.

I think of this as I'm sitting here watching American Ninja 2... Yes.. the first one was so good they made another. I think there was a 3rd too.

I'll post as I think of more.

Dude, don't you have stuff to unpack.. or furniture to move... or anything? You must have found a box that should have gotten pitched.. I wonder what got thrown our instead

hmm crappy movies....

How about crappy tv.....

Robotech... as a kid I loved that show.. I bought a couple episodes on dvd a year ago or so... yeah.. not exactly what I remembered.

THe first season of McGyver has some pretty poor acting and over dubbing for the voices of kids

I'll think of more.

If you think Robotech didn't hold up well, try watching some Voltron.

Horror movies seem to hold up the worst imo. Stuff that scared the crap outta me when I was a kid, even a teenager, just seems laughable now. Is Freddie Kruger really that scary? I think not.
