I've thought about living in Alaska. I wouldn't mind it.

Overlanding is the self-reliant overland travel to remote destinations where the journey is the principal goal.

That nelspot never needs lube, shoots 2,000 ball per second, never needs reloaded, doesn't require an air source and when the paintball hits somebody the result is the same as if Chuck Norris round house kicked them.
He nick named the gun Reggie.

Get out of the country, go volunteer some where in Africa or SE Asia. It will put things into perspective.

Les's place is pretty nice. The property is anyway. Everything seems pretty comfortable the couple times I have been out there. Not too far from town either.

Hell even if you live closer to town/in town, being off the grid and self sufficient is never a bad idea if you ask me. And yes, places like in North Ontario can be had for cheap if you go far enough. I swear more and more people will be moving up there in the next few decades.

Alaska would probably be pretty fun too.

Just make sure you have enough to do wherever you go if you are going to live a life of solitude for a few months. If you are alone and have nothing to do, you'll have just that much more time to think...
