Anything that avoids the term "gun" is good here. Being Canadian, I've had a few guns come over from the States, and it's no big deal. But for the love of god, always ship it as a gift. I had a guy who didn't one time, cost me $75 in duties. Not cool when it's only a $300 gun.

Be patient and it will show up.
Might be the sleeplessness at work but I read that as "blow up"

It'll be another week or so. Usually, when it's 3-5 from the US, that really means about 5-7 to your place. I can't even count the number of times that 5 days has turned into 2 weeks. If you don't get it by next friday, then it'll probably show up the week after. Damn border...

Heh, never knew that, cause he said he used priority mail and it should take 3 to 5 days to arrive. i guess i'll wait another week before contacting the seller Anywho, according to the tracking number, the last activity was 4 days ago (the 14th) where it said it had "arrived aboard in canada" according to USPS Tracking.

I've only ever had that fee problem with UPS. They seem to take particular glee in charging huge commissions for over-border deliveries. None of my sellers designate the items shipped as anything other than what they are, although the word "gun" is generally avoided.

Good news everyone!

According to Canada posts' tracking, it says it's currently accepted into a sortation plant in montreal, Quebec. Strange thing is, I'm located in Ontario and i guess this stuff is usually supposed to be sent in the sortation plant in Missisauga *sigh*, at least its not being held at the customs. *dances*

What about insurance, how does that work? (As to how much do I pay and such)

I'm sending some stuff out on Monday and for "Itemized List of Contents" I'm going to put marker, but I have the marker in three pieces. (Barrel, body and pump) Should I list all of these separate? I'm going to mark it as a gift of course, but its just the insurance thing and list of contents that worry me.
