thinking of a new hobby

I have been thinking of getting a small wood working lathe, chisels and a belt sander. To that end I am wondering were does one acquire scraps of different kinds of wood? Particularly exotic woods?

I would recommend googling "hard wood supply", " exotic woods supply" or "wood working supply" with your area name at the end. There might be some shops in your area you didn't know existed.

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them.”
