This is an awesome show. Well worth the watch..

BTW Scharfschutze91 it is Floki Not to be confused with Loki the Norse God

Also for those that are wondering why such a wonderful masterpiece is on the History Channel and not AMC or some other network....the characters are historical characters..>Ragnar was once the king of Denmark and had a son Sigurd the snake eye

Lol thank you! I was always confused and wondered if it was. I never actually searched IMDB for the actual name. =)

And this show is truly a gem of a show, the creators are doing one hell of a job!

Yeah Michael Hirst is the creator of the Tudors, Elizabeth, Camelot, and a great deal of wonderful middle age stuff.

I am just waiting for Ragnar to head West and hit land in Detroit

Been watching it since the pilot. It's a Canadian-Irish series and I've been pleasantly surprised with the production quality.

This last episode was amazing! That king of Wessex is so creepy and just gives a vibe of imminent violence. I thought that priest was going to get it a few times, and he still feels to be in a lot of danger.

Floki was hilarious, both of Ragnar's wives were awesome, just so much win in this last episode.

I just finished season 1 ... Waiting until I can stream season 2 for free

I know some say Rangar was a historical figure but it is my understanding that is debatable . That he is more legend or his legend is larger than he actually was or his story is one of many different people. I think there is a pretty long list of vikings that are said to be the son of Ragnar.

Either way I really like the series so far.

Since the Vikings of this time did not do much for writing history there is much to be debated. But the show is one of those fictionally historic shows Just enough historical information to make a show....like the names
