We would need ro develop a gatlin styled crossbow or a clip fired one.
24 arrows per clip.
Paint in the foam tips.
And make it gas powered.
See now we got a sport.

This actually looks like a bit of fun, I'd give it a go for sure.

saw this a few weeks ago online...It looks to be fun..but the most fun, I think would be in a large wooded setting much like the old big paintball games. Hunting each other

Not too sure they would like something like my 40# bow shooting at the kids tho :P

Those bows have to be low around 20# or maybe lower for the game.

Ok how did no one else see mixing this with Nerf Swords and Sheilds for the best thing ever?! Game of Thrones/Braveheart IRL games! It would certainly make the Quest for the Holy Grail game at EMR a hole hell of a lot more fun.
Would people be able to built their own Balista and bring it?
Honestly this is pretty cool but I'd rather shoot a paintball marker than play Robin Hood. Is that paintball bow still a thing?

They already have that, it's called larping lol.

I can only imagine this will end quick once someone snaps the end of the arrow off and shanks someone with a blunt wooden dart lol

I wonder about this and maybe its not what you were trying to do.

How do we, running around and shooting paint filled capsules at each other in a game of tag, have any standing to laugh at other hobbies?
