I like Seth's humor usually. I understand some don't and that is ok. There is something for everyone out there. But, this movie was just bad. I would recommend 'The Pacifier' long before this movie.

That really is sad, when you open the field to any sort of humor and they can't hit anything.

Seth's hosting of the David Hasselhoff roast on comedy central was pretty good. Those things are so harsh. The Flavor Flav roast by Kimmel was a stronger dose.

Are you going to blame the Pacifier on a higher power as well?

Saw it Saturday. If you like McFarlane then chances are you'll get a few laughs out of it. I didn't hate it but I did expect it to be much much funnier. The 2 things that really threw me were 1) constant f bomb dropping. Not that it offends me at all but it just didn't fit in with the western theme even if it was a McFarland western comedy. Actually most of the dialogue seemed out of place for a western 2) actually watching mcfarlane for 2 hours. He belongs behind the camera for sure.

Saw it tonight in a full theater, unusual for a Tuesday. I found it to be exactly as expected, rude, crude, dirty, random, and funny as hell.

I saw it on Friday night. Now, I like stupid humour, as well as higher quality stuff, and I thought this was a fun flick.

Yes, I agree that Seth MacFarlane belongs behind a camera and not in front of it. I liked that the movie was essentially like someone watching an old western flick while verbally taking the piss outta it, except that guy was in the movie (Seth's character). I thought it was a pretty self-conscious movie and if you don't get that kinda observational humour, you probably won't dig this flick.

That all said, I'm a weirdo. I'd see it again if someone else was paying. Or if it was during a cheap night. Or if it was on TV.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Then again, it is my kind of humor and I like a range of different kinds of humor. And I appreciate many different types of movies and usually go for the good quality movies. But I was in the mood for stupidity to let loose and laugh, so this one met the criteria and I was happy.
