If Robertsr is still making his clear ones, he could fill some with something black. They are very glossy and 45.

paintballer187.com used to carry what you are looking for, at a very reasonable price. He had every color under the sun. The problem was, keeping all that in stock and on hand. He said he quit doing them a while ago and isnt looking at starting back up; not even just for black and clear panels (I asked).

Stinger does great work and I believe all are cut to order. Well worth the price, I also believe they don't charge for shipping.

Stinger is the one you want, they probably made those jokers. Their grips are a picture behind a clear plastic, thus making it gloss and a darker black. I don't think they are actually a solid black material though... Ill get a picture of my grips to explain what the hell I'm talking about lol...

An alternative would be to get some plexi / lexan and make em yourself. While it would take a bit to polish I still think delrin would be a good option. Less prone to cracking / breaking. As posted somewhere in the thread, robertsr could resin cast you a set. They wouldn't be much cheaper than stinger though I don't think.

Oh, another person you could talk to would be pbalien. He does nice wood ones and maybe could do some in ebony. It's pretty dark black with some hints of brown (depending on what piece you get obviously). Could add some black stain to see if it could go darker. Below is a set I did a while back.

not really, man. that's usually the lower end of the price scale for nice wood grips, and custom aluminum grips cost a lot more. considering your options, and that the set you want are custom (those aren't 45 grips that are commonly available), i think $30 is fair. that's just my opinion though.
