About an hour away from it, heard and read some news from napa. Hope everyone there recovers and gets better soon, specially the young boy. Was pretty strong and it went for a while, not a quick 2-5 second jolt.

Smack dab in the middle of it, as are half my family and 2 team mates.

I thank god that it happened in the wee hours of the morning and the weather is good. Cleaning this mess up is exhausting.

Depends on what you call common. There are quite a few moderate ones that are 3.0 or less and are usually located in southern California and in less populated areas (if that's possible). Large earthquakes are few and far between. I myself have really only been in the smack dab of a large one. That was the one in 2004? in Paso Robles that was a 6.4 I believe. Did a lot of damage.

Meh......just another shaker up here .

I'm about 28 miles from the epicenter as the crow flies. Woke all of us up, that's for sure. It could have been much worse. I don't know a lot of people in the city of Napa and immediate surrounding areas and do hope the ones affected can get back up on their feet quickly. Not really any damage here, just an approximate 10-15 second ride.

My wife was in the living room and I was in the bedroom. Light damage there. The office was a total wreck. Had either of us been in there we would be injured at best.
