Dumb ***.... I'm sure the standard operating procedure there is to always get int he tank first to unplug it

Bet they have a nice long pole with a small hook on the end for doing such things.

Did the guy think that when he bent down to reach the plug that it was going to be fun having his entire body except for his back submerged in chocolate? Their lucky they didn't find him like that.

I used to work at a winery. Accidentally fall into one of those tanks and you're DEAD within one or two minutes. THICK CO2 gas from fermentation.

I always had a small fear of a slip when up on top of those tanks taking a sample or doing pump-overs, etc.

Chocolate seems like a dream accident in comparison to lung searing, eye burning, nose frying, death dealing thick cloud layers of CO2 gas!

hmm, gotta agree with the c02 comment above... know a guy who worked at a winery where they actually had to wear an oxy mask when working above the tanks (re'q safety equip)
